The Cosmopolitan city of London is always alive with sounds and sights that continue to attract millions of tourists and excite its residents. Fun, bubbly and easily navigable by rail and road, visitors to the city are never short of what to do and see. Some of the traditional places include London Bridge, Madam Tussaud and Buckingham palace. The Olympia Exhibition, Event and Conference Venue host many live events in the city of London. It hosts regular events like the BBC Good Food London (Haymarket Exhibitions Show) which holds annually in November. It also hosts shows like London International show, The Educational Technology show, Reed Exhibitions Show, The 50+Show, Communications Expo, VOIP for Business and many more too numerous to mention.
For the Sports enthusiasts, there are the Super Bowl shows like the Maple Leaf Super Bowl Extravaganza, The Blues Kitchen’s Super Bowl Sunday, and The Lexington’s Super Bowl Party. Whole new lists of musical events are lined up to show this exciting month of February. On Monday Feb 4th Dinosaur Jnr will be playing. The band has been a huge influence on the skatepunk and grunge movements. They are also one of the most significant bands in the country with a proven track record of success and international acclaim. February 6th- 14th will see Kraftswerk showing in Tate Moderns new vaults. The pioneers of the German electronica will be presenting their entire back catalog in eight straight nights.
Happening contemporaneously with Kraftswerk is the Mozarts Sister which will be showing live on February 11th. These events will be showing at the Shacklewell. The long time Outcast collaborator Killer Mike will be singing his new Southern rap produced by New York sci-fi dystopian EL-P. The list of exciting musical events lined up for the month of February continues with the inclusion of Ryan Jarman’s Exclamation Pony playing at the Hoxton Bar and kitchen. The lineup of events will end with a great pop performance from the Ducktails, the solo project from Matt Mondanile.
On the movie section, a number of boxoffice movies will be showing this February. The Play “People by Allan Bennett” will show at the London National Theatre Lyttleton, in Southbank. Tickets ranges from £12- £47. Not much information is given about the plot for this play as it is being closely guarded. However word has it that it includes a high cast of theatrical talents. Other movies that will be showing this month include The Magistrate, Jersey Boys, and The 39 Steps.
