According to a study by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine or LSHTM, the United Kingdom must have to vaccinate at least two million people in a week for avoiding a third wave of the novel corona virus outbreak, and the health ministry of the United Kingdom have recorded more than 71,000 deaths caused by the novel corona virus and the country has also recorded there are more than 2.3 million active corona virus cases in the country.
The study also said that, the most stringent intervention scenario has been with the regions, which are coming under the tier 4, and the schools have also been closed till the month of January 2021 and also for they will have to vaccinate tow million individuals per week, and this is the only scenario that, they are considering, which also helps in decreasing the burden of the ICU cases for bringing them below the levels that have been seen during the first wave of the corona virus pandemic.
The study also said that, during the absence of the substantial corona virus vaccine rollout, the number of the positive cases, along with the ICU admissions, Hospitalizations and deaths in the year 2021 might exceed than those in the year 2020.
