- A mutation of the novel corona virus known as the E484K that has been feared for making the vaccines less effective has occurred in the UK
- The E484K mutation of the corona virus is the change as we have seen in the B.1.351 variant of the virus
A new mutation of the novel corona virus known as the E484K and which has been feared to make the vaccines less effective has been recently occurred spontaneously in the rapidly spreading corona virus variant, which has now taken hold in the United Kingdom, as said by the experts in the United Kingdom during their latest assessment.
The E484K mutation of the corona virus, that has been occurring on the spike of the protein of the corona virus, has been the same change that have been seen in the B.1.351 variant of the corona virus, which was first seen in the country of South Africa and also in the P.1 variant of the virus seen in the country of Brazil.
Both the variants or mutation of the virus have been responsible for causing the concerns across the globe after the lab tests and trials made by at least two covid-19 vaccine producers, who have now been strongly suggesting that, it could be responsible for making the immunity of the people less effective from the corona virus vaccines and the infection of the old corona virus variant.
