On Tuesday, the social media giant Facebook has launched ‘Facebook News’ in the United Kingdom, which is going to be delivering the users of the leading social network application in the world curated news content, which has been bought from the traditional publishers, that have been struggling financially.
The arrival of the Facebook News in the United Kingdom have come after the news tab feature, had been launched in the United States in the year 2019, and is also a part of the plans for extend the feature worldwide.
The company Facebook is going to be paying the publishers for their content, and the services of the Facebook News are going to be including the content or the input from the publishers like Channel 4 News, Daily Mail Group, Financial Times, DC Thomson, Sky News, and Telegraph Media Group, and the company Facebook has already agreed the deals with several of the largest news publishers in the country that includes, The Guardian, The Independent, The Guardian and The Mirror.
Jesper Doub, who is the director of news partnership for Facebook in Europe said that, their main aim is to build on their efforts for sustaining the great local and national journalism and also create more value for the publishers.
